There are a handful of people who love cleaning, for everyone else there are kitchen cleaning life hacks.

Nobody likes cleaning. But cleaning your apartment, condo, or house is necessary to do. It is important for singles to be tidy, whether you’re a host or having someone over because it makes a great impression. Everyone should clean at least once a month and here are five simple kitchen cleaning life hacks for singles to use to tidy up.

5 Kitchen Cleaning Hacks You Can Use Today!

Garbage Disposal

When life gives you lemons, clean your smelly garbage disposal. Simply slice up a lemon, toss the lemons into your garbage disposal, and turn it on. The lemons act as a natural cleaner and deodorizer while releasing the scent of lemon! You can also toss in a lemon slice before you have guests over for a party to make the kitchen smell great.

The dishwasher cleans dishes, but how can you clean a dishwasher? This kitchen cleaning life hack requires white vinegar and baking soda. Pour water in a container, such as Pyrex, with water and white vinegar and place it on the top rack of the dishwasher. For the bottom of your dishwasher, set baking soda on the bottom of your dishwasher’s floor. Now close the dishwasher door and run a short cycle on your dishwasher’s high temperature wash option.

This kitchen cleaning life hack cleans and deodorizes your microwave. The hack requires lemons, a microwaveable container, and apple cider vinegar. In your microwave, place lemon slices with apple cider vinegar in the microwave safe container and turn on the microwave for thirty to forty-five seconds. Now use a cloth to wipe down the inside of your microwave. Voila, a clean microwave!

Oven Racks

This next kitchen cleaning life hack will make your oily, greasy, and burned oven racks clean again! How? All that you need to do is to place your oven racks in your bath tub with some dryer sheets, a splash of Dawn, and cover the over racks with hot water. Let it sit overnight. The next day you will have sparkling clean oven racks that you can place back in your oven!

Oven Liner

If you cook with your oven often enough, oil and grease burn on the bottom of your oven. The build up can be difficult to clean . The traditional way to clean the oven bottom uses harsh chemicals and the self clean oven button. But it requires time and heaving chemicals. How about an oven liner? An oven liner saves you the headache of having to buy extra cleaning material to clean an oven. You simply place an oven liner on the bottom of your oven, clean it when it gets dirty, and place it back.

There are many reasons to keep your place clean and tidy from lowering stress and fatigue to having a place that is clean to bring someone home to, if you get lucky. It is important to keep your house and kitchen clean. We hope these five kitchen cleaning life hacks will help make your oven, microwave, dishwasher, and disposal cleaner!
