Relationship-oriented singles seek to fill the void of not dating.

Singles make up a large percentage of the population and there are many different types of singles.  There are relationship-oriented singles who aim towards attaining a relationship, single by default, single by circumstance, single at heart, and single by choice. We’re going to dig into the relationship-oriented single. You know the ones. Relationship-oriented singles are either dreadfully single, recently exiting a relationship or seeking to fill a void by getting into a relationship.

Relationship-Oriented Singles: Looking To Fill The Void

Dreadfully Single

It’s okay if you fall into this category, just as long as you get out of it. We have all been there at one point or another. The dreadfully single may even be one of your friends. The dreadful single will say something like, ‘I’m a hopeless romantic.’, or something to that degree. It’s okay if you are, or your friend is the dreadful single. Just support them and remind them there is nothing wrong with being single. Additional characteristics of the dreadful single are those who really want a relationship, but it seems to elude them. Fall into this category if you need to, then get the heck out of it. Yeah. Still, relationship oriented, but not really.

Recently Exited Singles

For those of us that have recently ended a relationship, broke up with someone, or in one way or another ‘exited’ a relationship, this is for you. You may still be relationship-oriented, but are single and maybe wanting to find a quick fix to fill the void. If you are one of these singles, know that you should take time to yourself to recover from your last ‘exit’. Give yourself the space to drop off your emotional baggage at the next dumpster in site. Work to make sure you are 100%. Resit the drive to jump into another relationship, and allow yourself to do what you want to. Hook up with someone, with no strings attached, and get over it! You are way too cool to let anything stop you from being the amazing single that you are.

Bi-Curious Singles

We all let our minds wander from time to time, and you will want to let yourself have fun with this. Let yourself be single, and flirt with dating or sexual experimentation. You may be relationship oriented, but have one foot in and one out. If you are curious, allow yourself to let yourself fulfill what your desire. Download tinder, and get coffee with a sexy-hot-date. You deserve it, and you are worth it to treat yourself to a nice date. And the benefit is that you have no strings attached So let yourself be bi-curious with potential partners. Woo-who!

Summary

Being single is such a colorful walk of life to experience.  Embrace being single and learn to enjoy the single life, even if you are a relationship-oriented single. Life is all about gathering experience, whether good or bad. Live through the moment. As a single, you make up a large part of our society. Relationship-oriented singles are just part of the mix.
